The Veteran Voice Team

Our Founder

Lukas Simianer is a Purple Heart–decorated combat veteran, entrepreneur, and veteran advocate committed to restoring competence and accountability to the systems that serve America’s warfighters. He enlisted in the U.S. Army at 17 and deployed with the 82nd Airborne Division in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Wounded in action at 19, he returned home determined to make sure the men and women who serve are never abandoned once the uniform comes off.

After the military, Lukas rebuilt from the ground up—earning his BSN from the University of Nebraska Medical Center before pivoting into technology through software engineering credentials at the University of Texas at Austin. Inspired by his blind stepfather and Austin’s innovation ecosystem, he founded Clusiv, widely recognized as the world’s first e-learning platform built specifically for blind learners. Clusiv was accepted into Techstars Workforce Development (Denver, 2021), raised more than $4M in venture capital, and secured contracts spanning nearly all 50 states—proving Lukas’s ability to build mission-driven products at national scale, even in highly regulated environments.

Today, Lukas applies that same discipline and problem-solving mindset to VetClaims.AI, an AI-powered platform built to help veterans navigate the VA claims process with clarity, speed, and integrity—without the predatory fees that have harmed veterans for decades. In its first year of operations, VetClaims.AI helped more than 23,000 veterans pursue the benefits they earned and created over 250 jobs for fellow veterans, and the organization has continued to grow since. .

Through The Veteran Voice PAC, Lukas is focused on one mission: elevating battle-tested veteran leaders into the halls of power and advancing legislation that strengthens VA services, expands real opportunity, and treats mental health and suicide prevention like the national readiness issue it is. His leadership has been recognized with the Texas Business Hall of Fame Award for Innovative Leadership; he serves on the advisory board of Warrior Rising and is a sought-after speaker at SXSW, universities, veteran organizations, and entrepreneurship events nationwide.

Our Mission

The Veteran Voice exists to ensure America’s warfighters—past, present, and future—have real representation where decisions are made.

The Veteran Voice For America’s warfighters, past, present, and future.

For that I will fight.

Veterans have carried the burden of war for this nation. Too often, they come home to bureaucracy, broken systems, and policies written about them—but not with them. We’re here to change that by building a sustained political force grounded in service, integrity, and outcomes.

Protect veteran rights

We advocate for policies that defend the rights and dignity of those who served—ensuring veterans are treated fairly, lawfully, and consistently by the institutions tasked with supporting them.

Improve access

We push for reforms that reduce red tape and delays, expand access to quality care and benefits, and create transparent, navigable pathways for veterans and their families.

Create opportunity

We support initiatives that expand veteran economic mobility—employment, entrepreneurship, education, housing stability, and long-term security—so veterans can build thriving lives after service.

How We Do It

Legislation with teeth

We create, push, and support legislation that delivers measurable improvements—protections, access, and opportunity—without partisan theater.

Elect veteran leaders

We support veteran candidates for office who share the mission and have the discipline to execute it. Leadership matters—and veterans belong at the table when national priorities are set.

Build the next generation in Washington

We bring up-and-coming veteran leaders to Washington, D.C. to learn how policy is made, build relationships, and find their footing—so they can lead effectively, not just symbolically.

Our Standard

We’re not here for slogans. We’re here for outcomes.

If you support a country that sends men and women to fight, you should support a government that fights for them when they come home.
